At Pedalmax, customer satisfaction is important to us. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return or refund under the terms set out below.
1. Right of withdrawal for online purchases
If you purchase as a consumer through our website, you generally have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days from the day you, or a third party indicated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods. You do not need to give a reason for exercising this right.

2. Return conditions
If you withdraw from the purchase, you must send the goods back to us without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 calendar days from the date on which you informed us of your decision to withdraw. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the 14-day period has expired.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. We recommend that returned items be sent back in their original packaging where possible and properly protected for transport.
3. Return shipping costs
Unless otherwise stated on the product page or as part of a promotional offer, the direct cost of returning goods under the right of withdrawal will be borne by the customer. This allocation of return shipping costs must be clearly disclosed to the consumer in advance.
4. Refunds
If you validly exercise your right of withdrawal, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard delivery costs of the original order, without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 calendar days from the date on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. However, we may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier. Refunds will be made using the same means of payment used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise.
Please note that if you expressly chose a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us, we are not required to reimburse the additional costs.
5. Damaged items in transit
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible at [insert customer service email] and send clear photos of the packaging and the product. Although Spanish consumer law does not set the “3 business days” rule from your sample as a general statutory deadline, reporting transport damage promptly helps us process the incident faster with the carrier and offer you an appropriate solution. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
6. Faulty, incorrect, or non-conforming goods
If you receive a defective item, an incorrect item, or a product that does not conform to the contract, you are entitled to the legal guarantee provided by Spanish consumer law. In Spain, the legal guarantee period for consumer goods is 3 years from delivery. During this period, you may request that the item be repaired or replaced, unless one of those remedies is impossible or disproportionate. In some cases, you may also be entitled to a price reduction or termination of the contract.

7. Items excluded from the right of withdrawal
Under Spanish and EU consumer law, some items are exempt from the right of withdrawal. This may include, for example, sealed goods not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed, and goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized. These exceptions apply only where legally valid.

A few important fixes versus your original sample:
14 business days should be changed to 14 calendar days.
A refund is not simply “within 7 days of receiving the returned goods.” In Spain, the general rule is within 14 days from being informed of withdrawal, but the seller may wait until the goods are received back or proof of return is provided.
For faulty goods, Spain now generally provides a 3-year legal guarantee for consumer goods, not just a vague product-by-product timeframe.
